K. M. Higginbotham is a twenty-something writer and editor from Alabama. Her first novel, Keeper: The Book of Aon, debuted when she was just sixteen years old. She writes young adult fantasy and contemporary fiction.

Kate lives with her husband, Drew, and their pup, Arthur, in Nashville, Tennessee, where she manages production for a small publisher. She writes, reads, designs book interiors, and edits in her free time.
